Orsolya Haarberg graduated as a landscape architect in Hungary and then turned to studying the feeding behaviour of Eurasian beavers for a PhD programme. When she met Erlend Haarberg in Norway in 2004 she decided to concentrate on her hobby, nature photography, which she had been passionate about since her early 20's.
Erlend and Orsolya have worked as a photographer team since 2005. They are based in Trondheim in Norway, and specialise in landscape and wildlife photography in the Nordic countries in Europe.
Together they have published three books: Lapland - the Alaska of Europe (Published by National Geographic in English, Hungarian, and German);
Iceland - land of contrasts (Published by National Geographic in English and Hungarian);
