Based in Northern Ireland, he is a freelance nature photographer and author, with a long list of publications to his name. In addition, he is well known as a specialist in macro photography.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>An active conservationist, Robert has worked on several major natural history recording projects in Ireland. His work also shows a detailed knowledge of dragonflies, butterflies and moths.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He is a frequent writer and contributor to the photographic and nature press, both in the UK and Ireland and internationally.
