Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2019 Judging<\/h3>\n

NPL director Helen Gilks is at the Natural History Museum<\/a> this week judging Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, together with NPL represented photographers Theo Bosboom, Juergen Freund<\/a> and Ole Liodden.\u00a0Wildlife Photographer of the Year is an annual event, run by the Natural History Museum, and as the largest wildlife photography competition in the world it attracts the highest calibre of talent. It has been running since 1964 making this the 55th year of the competition #WPY55<\/p>\n

This year saw a whopping 48000 entries received – many wonderful photos and difficult decisions to make! This is the final judging, where 4000 finalists are being whittled down to the top 100, including winners for the book and the exhibition. The category and overall winners will all be revealed in October, so watch this space!<\/p>\n
