It has been running since 1964 making this the 55th year of the competition #WPY55<\/p>\n<p>This year saw a whopping 48000 entries received &#8211; many wonderful photos and difficult decisions to make! This is the final judging, where 4000 finalists are being whittled down to the top 100, including winners for the book and the exhibition.
