Nature Picture Library\u2019s photographers were successful in many of the major photographic competitions of 2018. Neil Aldridge won the Environment Singles category in the World Press Photo competition, as well as portfolio awards at NPPA and Nature Photographer of the Year, Jen Guyton won the Plants and Fungi category of Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Andrew Parkinson and Neil McIntyre were both category winners at the British Wildlife Photography Awards, Andy Rouse and Claudio Contreras both won categories of Nature’s Best, Espen Bergersen won the Threatened Nature section of the Nordic Photo Contest, Bence Mate took first prize in the Birds category of Nature Photographer of the Year and Markus Varesvuo was runner-up in the GDT Birds section, while Andres Dominguez won the macro category of the Montphoto competition.<\/p>\n
