1909 illustration of Charles Darwin in tree with young chimpanzee (left) and orangutan (right) by the German artist Thomas Theodor Heine in the periodical 'Simplicissimus' 15th February 1909. This forms a detail of a larger image where Ernst Haeckel offers Darwin a halo on the centenary of his Birth 1809 (and 50 years since publication of 'The Origin of Species' 1859). Darwin had died in 1882.
