An endangered African wild dog, or painted wolf (Lycaon pictus) watching filmmaker Brett Kuxhausen in Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique. These individuals are part of the first pack of wild dogs to be reintroduced to the park since the end of the Mozambican Civil War, which wiped out more than 90% of large mammals in the park. These dogs were relocated from South Africa to Gorongosa in 2018, and quickly adapted to their new home.
