Danny Green (UK) has a particular interest in the wildlife and landscapes of the northern hemisphere and has travelled to many remote regions in search of his images, from Svalbard, Iceland and Finland to his favourite country Scotland. He spends many months in the field achieving his images and has a particular interest in the vast seabird colonies in the northern Atlantic.
^My mission for Wild wonders of Europe was the charismatic Northern Gannet and my goal was to visit some of the remotest colonies in Scotland. This exciting project took me to Boreray, St Kilda, The Flannan Isles, Hermaness, Shetland Isles and the Bass Rock. I covered many aspects of Gannet behaviour from courtship display to rearing of the young chicks.^
