Japanese pygmy squid (Idiosepius paradoxus) eggs on Seagrass (Zostera marina) with developing embryos visible. The embryos are in the early stages of development, with eyes, tentacles and bodies taking form. The eyes of the juveniles measure around 0.1mm in diameter, Hokkaido, Japan.
